Who has invented the cinematograph?

Everybody knows that brothers Auguste and Louis Lumiere were the inventors of the cinema. I don't reduce their merit, but we have to know about Joseph Timchenko, because he invented the cinematograph earlier than famous brothers.
Joseph Timchenko showed people two films: "Galopping horseman" and "Javelin thrower" in 1893 in Odessa (in the hotel "French"). These films were made by Joseph with a kinescope. People didn't know the word "cinema" in those days, that is why in the newspaper "Odessa Leaf" these movie were called "living photos".
Unfortunately, this invention was not patented and then in 1895 the brothers Luimere invented the cinematograph. Later, this invention was patented and Auguste and Louis Lumiere became the inventors of the cinema, but it's not true, because Joseph Timchenko (Ukrainian) invented the cinema earlier.

New Year

As you know, I live in Ukraine, in the country with a lot of traditions, that is why I would like to tell you about our winter celebrations. In winter we have 3 big holidays: New Year, Christmas and New Year by old style.

New Year is the biggest and very important celebration for Ukrainian people.  We begin our celebrations the 31^st of December. As a rule, we meet New Year with family or with the best friends. All of us decorate tree and flat and cook different dishes, such as: salad with crab sticks or Olivier - the most popular salad in Ukraine and cook this dish is the very big tradition. Our people don’t understand how other people can meet New Year without Olivier. Frankly, I don’t like this salad, because I hate canned green peas, which is in the recipe, but my mum always cooks this salad and sometimes forces me, that I eat this beautiful dish. Then we follow old year and wait chiming clock. I very like make a wish during chiming clock. For me it’s beautiful and romantic…. Then we eat dishes, which cook earlier. At last, we see TV (comedies or New Year’s programs or films). As for me, I like watch 3 parts of New Year’s film, which is called: “Home Alone”. It’s my personally tradition. Then we go to the bed. In the morning we go to the tree and we are looking for present, which puts under the tree Did Moroz. And we are very fun…

Hi! My name is Nastya. I will write this blog. I chose topic for my blog:'All about everything'. Why did I choose this subject? Frankly speaking, when I create my blog, I didn't know about what I want to write, that is why I choose this topic. I have to write about everything, because I write well about problem when I want to write about this problem. Now I want to introduce myself. 

I live in Sumy. I am from Ukraine. Ukraine is the biggest coutry in Europe. Urrainian people are very hardworking and polite. I   am glad to be Ukrainian. By the way, my native town Sumy is very beautiful and cosy. Frenkly, I have a lot of hobby, such as swimming, reading interesting books and dancing hip-hop.

I like swimming, because I enjoy water. Also I am fond of discovering the undersea world. Under the water I fell like at home. One of my dreams is diving.

Reading interesting books is very important for me, because when you read books, you develop and your vocabulary become bigger. My favourite ganres are love story, fantastic and adventure. Recently I have read, which is called "The Hungry Games" is very interesting and exciting and it has elements of love story, fantastic and adventure. I will never forget this book. 

I enjoy dancing hip-hop. Hip-hop is a quick, beautiful and street dance. I like dancing hip-hop, because I like discovering the world and finding out new interesting information.
